2007 Petite Sirah

As a winemaker, petite sirah is one of my favorite varieties. I enjoy making my PS in a style that both has the WOW factor in terms of color, structure, and fruit extraction BUT WITHOUT being overly tannic and abrasive. The Naggier Vineyard provides me with fruit that consistently has aromas of lavender, crushed violets, and wet river rock. The fruit tones are all about dark black macerated fruit compotes. The color... well... black with hues of blood red. You will need your toothbrush after this one.
