2007 AntithesiS Red Wine

Antithesis: Greek for "setting opposite" or "the exact opposite"

My dedication to the quality level of this wine coupled with the timing of specific fermentations are crucial elements required for the production of Antithesis. With that said, there will be years when Antithesis is not produced therefore further limiting its availability and increasing its level of rare collectability.

Only 3 barrels of the 2007 vintage were bottled.

This wine exudes power and plush elegance the moment it graces your palate. Its round and lush texture wraps around a core of ripe red and blue fruit and sturdy structure.  Layered with ripe blackberry, red plum, creamy cocoa, and sweet vanilla on the palate, super fine grain tannins bring the experience to a lengthy, broad finish. Grown in the heart of Napa Valley, this proprietary fermentation process and blend consists of a selection of my finest lots and was sorted FOUR times down to the berry, fermented in small open top fermenters, and matured in my finest selection of 100% new French oak barrels for 20 months.

Allow to decant for 2 to 6 hours to enjoy this wine at its fullest potential.
