2007 Petite Sirah (wine club only)

Only 1 barrel of this velvetty beast was bottled (less than 300 bottles). This wine is BLACK and has powerful and deep aromatics of soft lavender, crushed violets, creasote,  and wet river rock. With loads of black fruit and grippy yet refined tannins, the wine is more approachable than most Petite Sirahs. Grown in Grass Valley at 1,300 ft elevation, the Naggier Vineyard was a wonderful find. The grapes were tripple sorted down to the berry, co-fermented with 2% Viognier in small open top fermenters, and matured in 50% new French oak for 22 months.

Allow to decant for 2 to 24 hours to enjoy this wine at its fullest potential.
