2007 Syrah

Only 1 barrel of this beast of a wine was bottled (less than 300 bottles in the world). This wine is dark purple bordering on black with explosive and powerful aromatics of blue/blackbery, bacon fat, and smoked meat. Loads of fruit on the palate with hints of minerality, and grippy tannins which creates an experience of pure hedonism. Hailing from south Napa, this wine was fermented in small open top fermenters utilizing 100% native yeast and 50% new French (Seguin Moreau) oak.  Bottled un-filtered. Allow to decant for 2 to 24 hours to enjoy this wine at its fullest potential.
