Modus Operandi Cellars produces just a small hand full of wines… considered the boutique of boutique…
And for that reason, tastings are only granted to mailing list subscribers, however requesting a tasting will add you to our mailing list.
Tastings are by appointment only and it is a good idea to request your tasting a bit in advance so that we can make time for you.

Jason is a skilled storyteller and has a knack for exuding an air of warmth and comfort that is rare in the more often introverted winemaking community.
His story is truly an “American Dream” come true, kind of story.

Modus is a member of a private – members only cooking club in downtown Napa.
Our guests will enjoy a 4-5 course meal (paired with our wine) that we cook together, behind the line in a professional kitchen and under our chef’s supervision. About 20% of the evening is spent in the kitchen getting personal instruction from the chefs as we all work together learning new cooking techniques… its a ton of fun, educational, and VERY memorable. The menu can be custom built to be as simple or as extravagant as is desired. We usually plan a passed amuse bouche, salad course, mid course, main dish (all family style), and desert if desired.
All Modus Operandi wines of the evening are paired to your menu and are included in the all inclusive price.
Requests for this experience must be received a minimum of 1 week prior to the proposed requested date for this experience… more advanced planning is highly recommended for availability and for menu design.
